"Technicolor"

from $60.00

The original photo was taken in front of an abandoned home. Strewn across the front yard were rusted paint cans, as if the home was forsaken in the middle of its conception. The paint cans, no longer a symbol of new beginnings and robust colors, were swathed by the uncut grass, dandelions, and other wildflowers attempting to reclaim their domain.

I took multiple photos of the scene, overlaid them, and altered them, using the flora to bring back the color that the paint cans lost. Archaic. At the same time, vibrant. “Technicolor.”

*Canvas available in: 8x12; 10x15; 11x17; 16x24; 20x30; 24x36; 30x45

*Metallic available in: 7x5; 8x12; 12x18; 16x24
